This app's goal is to facilitate online registration of bus seats for the school bus. Parents/guardians will be able to get feedback and view their application status online. Additionally, admin reports would track certain metrics so that the school can make informed decisions about the bus routes.
Parents can now register their children for school bus services through an online platform, eliminating paper forms and reducing administrative overhead. The system includes a Management Information System (MIS) reports for overseeing the operational aspects of the school's transportation services. Automatic emails are sent to parents upon successful registration, and to administrators for important notifications.
Integration with School Information Systems for seamless data sharing and to automate the enrollment

notifications about the bus's arrival time. A feature to allow parents to pay for the bus service online.
The main challenge was to ensure that the system complies with the requirements of the school. The morning and afternoon routes and buses should be separated, so that learners who had afternoon activities could be accommodated. The admin dashboard should also be user-friendly. Since the system was using vanilla php I had to ensure that the admin and parent permissions were properly set up.
